A 3-RBI performance from third baseman Nobuo Kobayashi led the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles to a win over the Arizona Javelina, 9-3. Arizona's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

Kobayashi made an early impact for Mercer Island when he stroked his 9th home run of the season. The solo home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Screaming Eagles on top, 3-1.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Kobayashi told the Mercer Island Citizen.
