Minnesota registered a win at Imps Park by beating the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 8-3. Pitcher Joe Thomas was one reason why the Loons triumphed. Thomas picked up the win for Minnesota, going 6.1 innings. Christian Gray had a big 2-run home run for the Loons in the top of the fourth inning. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Loons on top, 4-0.
