Robinson Leads Cattlemen to 8-2 Win Over Patriots
Due in large part to second baseman Rob Robinson, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen sunk the Boston Patriots, 8-2. Robinson was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The first-place Patriots dropped to 65-35.

With Ft. Worth leading 3-2 in the top of the sixth, Robinson hit a 2-run single off Boston hurler Orlando Díaz. It was the 34th hit of the season for Robinson and put his team ahead, 5-2.

Said losing manager Tyler Carter: "Give the Cattlemen credit. They played a better game than we did."
