Ithaca Fighting Imps starter Salvador Pérez turned in a top-notch performance against the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis at Imps Park. The result was a win for the Fighting Imps, 5-2. David Cole got the save, his 18th in 19 chances. With the win, the Fighting Imps sit at 48-32.

The Fighting Imps got a big at-bat from first baseman Jerry Knight. For the game, Knight went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 23rd double of the season gave Ithaca a 2-1 lead.
