|
The Olympia Ogres topped the Bethesda Atoms, 6-2, in USPL Double A action at Atoms Field. The standout performance belonged to Olympia pitcher and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, native Broderick Morales. The 6th-place Ogres improved to 40-42.
Early in the game, designated hitter Yuan Chou had a 2-run home run for Olympia. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Ogres on top, 2-0.
In postgame comments to the Olympia Citizen, Morales said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
