The Crescent City Krewe picked up a win at Atoms Field, taking down the Bethesda Atoms, 5-2. Starting pitcher Bill Darcy was a big reason why. Will Gordon collected save number 3. The Atoms, at 36-47, have lost 6 straight games.

The game still hung in the balance with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning. Darcy, however, wiggled out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Bethesda trailing 5-2, Darcy retired Mike Sparks, who grounded out.
