Niagara Falls right-hander Nicholas Reyes helped his team edge Rocky Mountain by the score of 3-2. Reyes kept the opposing lineup in check. Wes Bryant, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Garry Davis nailed down the save.
Some sloppy defense hurt the Vibes. In the top of the eighth, with Niagara Falls trailing 2-1, Chris Adams was at the plate when Niagara Falls scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Expos to go in front, 3-2.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Adams told a Niagara Falls Herald reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
The Expos, now 13-6, have been playing some good baseball.
