The Crescent City Krewe outlasted the Bethesda Atoms in an extra-inning thriller.

Despite a great performance by Bethesda second baseman Brody Peck, the Crescent City Krewe defeated the Atoms by the score of 6-5 in 10 innings at Atoms Field. Peck went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. John Greville picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Adam Shirley suffered the loss. Will Gordon, credited with the save, is now 4 for 4 in save opportunities.

Crescent City used a timely hit from Arturo Prieto to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Krewe ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I like the roll we're on," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton.

The slumping Atoms have lost 7 straight.
