Nuevo Mexico Gets 2-0 Win
The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis downed the Olympia Ogres, 2-0, at The Ogre Den. Stellar pitching by Curtis López had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PAA with a 8.2 K/9 rate, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Mariachis, now 47-38, have won 4 in a row.

Nuevo Mexico used a well-timed hit by Harry Harvey to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mariachis ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Harvey.
