Thanks in large part to designated hitter Lee Lee, the Memphis Mockingbirds clipped the Buffalo White Walkers, 7-5, in 10 innings. Lee was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. With the win over Buffalo, the Mockingbirds improved to 44-57.

Memphis used the timely hitting of Ai-de Lau to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Mockingbirds on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Memphis manager Beau Carsten.
