Saboteurs Pick Up 6-1 Win Against Olympia
|
Lonnie Burton was superb against Olympia. The right-hander had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Saboteurs victory. The score was 6-1. Burton got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The defeat makes Olympia 44-43.
With no one out in the top of the third, George Roberts hit a go-ahead, solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and with it the Saboteurs took a 1-0 lead.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Burton.
