Bulls Take Down Torch, 4-3
|
The Mancelona Torch got a sterling performance from pitcher Troy Walker, but the Belleville Bulls still prevailed, 4-3. Walker threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Belleville is now 8-12.
The game-ending blow was delivered by Bryan Joseph in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Will Stephens to win it for Belleville and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.
"The house was rockin'," said Joseph.
