The Toledo Stingers got a superb performance from pitcher Kyle Chambers, but the New Orleans Voodoo still won the game, 4-1. Chambers threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The save went to Jared Wilson, his 28th this season. New Orleans, at 57-44, occupies third place in the Premier League.
Chris Veeck, who is tied for 9th in the PL in bases on balls with 46, had a direct impact on the outcome. Veeck contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put New Orleans up, 2-1.
