Screaming Eagles Knock Off Fighting Imps at Imps Park
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles beat the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 8-5, at Imps Park. Brian Neame, in particular, was impressive. He slugged 2 home runs. Mercer Island is first in the Premier AA with a record of 62-27.

Mercer Island used a well-timed hit by Chris Moore to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 5-4. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Moore said. "We did a good job of that today."
