The 4-3 Vancouver win over Nuevo Mexico was due largely to Pat Craig. The Vipers left fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The last-place Vipers sport a record of 37-54.

Craig contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Vancouver in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Craig took a splitter from Bob Ward and stroked the home run to left-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Vipers to leap in front, 4-2.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Craig.
