Mercer Island Makes It 7 Straight with 13-1 Win
No one was more impactful than David Acevedo in the 13-1 Mercer Island win over Crescent City. Acevedo went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ron Pitts in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Cliff Gallagher took the loss. The Screaming Eagles have now reeled off 7 straight wins.

Mercer Island went up, 3-1, on Jorge González's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which González hit in the top of the eighth, left Crescent City pitcher Cliff Gallagher muttering to himself.

González told a Mercer Island Today reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
