Ogres Walk It Off for 45th Win of Season
The Olympia Ogres wiggled past the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 3-2, in 10 innings at The Ogre Den. The win was highlighted by the performance of Olympia pitcher Wang-fen Jia. Miguel Ortíz picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Guy Shirley suffered the loss. Lake Murray has now lost 4 in a row.

The Ogres got a clutch hit from left fielder Gareth Garnett. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ogres.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Garnett said in his postgame press conference.
