Starting pitcher Bill Bennett was a major factor in the 3-2 Bethesda Atoms triumph over the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas. The Atoms go to 46-46, putting them 6th in the Premier AA.

The Atoms got a big at-bat from catcher Doug Ramos. For the game, Ramos was 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Bethesda a 2-0 lead.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Bennett.
