Buffalo parlayed a decent outing from starter Volmer Aalbers into a solid win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. The final score was 7-3. Buffalo now owns a record of 47-55.

Buffalo used a big swing from Darryl Stansberry to get the win. The center fielder walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the White Walkers up, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

Stansberry called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
