The Las Vegas Flamingos got a good effort from starter Nick Middleton in defeating the Mexico City Blue Demons at Condor Nest. The final score was 4-2. Middleton got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Miguel Hernández got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.
Amador Licopit, who is tied for 3rd in the PL in stolen bases with 30, had a direct impact on the outcome. Licopit contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Licopit.
The win makes Las Vegas 46-56.
