The Ithaca Fighting Imps eked out a 3-2 win versus the Crescent City Krewe at Field of the Krewe. Nobody did more than pitcher John Terry. He was terrific. In 8 innings, Terry surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. The Fighting Imps, at 44-49, have now won 5 straight.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Evan Winn? The Ithaca second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Fighting Imps on top, 3-2. For the game, Winn had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Ithaca manager Albert Pérez.
