Cangrejos Fantasmas Do In Atoms, 4-3
|
Due in large part to left fielder Luis Ramírez, the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas sunk the Bethesda Atoms, 4-3. Ramírez was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Earning his 29th save of the year was Mario Pérez. The Cangrejos Fantasmas now have a record of 59-34 with the win over Bethesda.
With no one out in the top of the sixth, Jimmy Conner barreled up a sinker from Robby McIntyre. The result was a solo home run, putting the Cangrejos Fantasmas in front, 4-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Ramírez said, "and we're having fun right now."
