Manatees Get One-Run Win at Washington
The Matlacha Manatees racked up a win at Washington Park, bumping off the Washington Generals, 4-3. Andre Graham, who started for Matlacha, pitched effectively for his team. Mark Smith finished the game for Matlacha and earned his 8th save. With the win, the Manatees have a record of 13-9.

Matlacha took a 4-1 lead on Renato González's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which González hit in the top of the ninth, left Washington pitcher Ramón Trinidad visibly frustrated.
