Screaming Eagles Take Nail-Biter Over Cangrejos Fantasmas
Thanks in large part to third baseman Wally Green, the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles clipped the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 8-5, in 10 innings. Green went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The Screaming Eagles go to 57-38, putting them second in the Premier AA.

Ahn Jin-ah played the role of hero for Mercer Island. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a 3-run home run off David Adelabu to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Green said.
