Fans watched the Mancelona Torch and the Walla Walla Walleye fight to the finish.
Mancelona turned a good performance from starting pitcher Isaak van Breugel into a 3-2 triumph over the Walla Walla Walleye at Walleye Tank. After today's action, Mancelona sits at 10-13, while Walla Walla falls to 11-12.
Frank Douglas, who is tied for 6th in the 3A with a .328 batting average, had a direct impact on the outcome. Douglas contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Mancelona up, 2-0.
