Atoms Rebuff Mariachis, 3-2

Trent Troubridge could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Nuevo Mexico Mariachis lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Bethesda Atoms at Atoms Field. Bethesda reliever Robby MacGregor picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Trent Troubridge was saddled with the loss. Graham Galloway closed out the game, earning his 20th save.
Bethesda took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Ernest Morgan hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Atoms fans to their feet.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Morgan.
Bethesda has 4 straight wins, Nuevo Mexico 4 straight losses.
