Ogres Lose Versus Ithaca, 4-1
The Ithaca Fighting Imps picked up a win at The Ogre Den, topping the Olympia Ogres, 4-1. On the mound for Ithaca was right-hander Luke Little. He played a principal role in the triumph. Jerome Field finished the game for Ithaca and earned his 7th save. The Fighting Imps are now 49-47, while the Ogres fall to 47-49.

Ithaca used the timely hitting of Nicephorus Yeremian to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Fighting Imps ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Little.
