Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis and Marquette Miners.

William Nevárez, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA in innings pitched with 141.2, had a strong outing for the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis against the Marquette Miners at Marquette Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. The winner was Nevárez. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Marcus Thomas. Greg Kirkpatrick earned his 10th save in 10 chances.
