Hawks Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
Left-hander Sam Hart mesmerized the Rocky Mountain Vibes while leading the Laredo Hawks to a 2-0 victory. Denny Springer claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 3-2. The Hawks, now 16-9, have won 4 in a row.

Laredo needed the clutch hitting of Brian Pilgrim to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hawks on top, 2-0. For the game, Pilgrim had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
