The Crescent City Krewe got a sterling performance from pitcher Kevin Webb, but the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas still prevailed, 3-2. Webb threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The Cangrejos Fantasmas have an impressive 61-37 record.

Chesapeake took a 3-2 lead on Nicky Chamings's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Chamings hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Crescent City pitcher Paikea Hotu visibly frustrated.

"Every loss hurts," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton. "But this was a tough one."
