The Crescent City Krewe and Ithaca Fighting Imps squared off at Field of the Krewe.

A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old left fielder Claudio Ynegas helped the Crescent City Krewe beat the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 6-2. Freddy Hernández, the winner, improved to 7-1. He held Ithaca to 1 run on 5 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts.

Ynegas had a big hit for Crescent City with two out in the bottom of the fifth. With Crescent City leading 3-1, Ynegas hit a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Krewe up, 6-1.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Crescent City manager Cleveland Kraut.

The Krewe have an impressive 66-32 record.
