Krewe Rally to Win
The Crescent City Krewe had to weather a strong performance from Ithaca pitcher David Jordan before claiming a 3-2 win in 10 innings. Jordan went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The 5th-place Krewe lifted their record to 51-47.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Crescent City. That's when Clint Sheffield hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Dougherty to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It was a solid team effort," said Sheffield after the game.
