The Ithaca Fighting Imps beat the Crescent City Krewe, 11-5, at Imps Park. The win was due in part to first baseman Jerry Knight, who was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Ithaca pitcher Iemochi Ueda got the win, upping his record to 1-3. Brandon Whitney got the loss. With the win, Ithaca pushed its record to 56-42.

With Ithaca leading 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth, Knight hit a fastball from Jeff Fisher for a 2-run double. It was his 27th double of the season and put the Fighting Imps ahead, 8-5.

"Enjoyed this one," Knight told the Ithaca Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
