Fred McClure left his imprint on the 10-6 Rocky Mountain win against the Alameda Airmen. McClure, who is tied for 5th in the 3A in home runs with 5, was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Justin MacBurie notched his 2nd save of the season. After today's action, Rocky Mountain sits at 12-13; Alameda slips to 12-13.

Júlio Mendoza came through with a big-time hit for Rocky Mountain. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said McClure.
