Chesapeake turned a good effort from starter Alfonso Crisci into a win over the Crescent City Krewe at Ghost Crab Park. The Cangrejos Fantasmas won the game, 4-1. Mario Pérez picked up the save, his 30th. The first-place Krewe dropped to 63-36.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas got a big hit from shortstop Odell Papageorgiou. Facing Crescent City pitcher Fernando Escalante in the bottom of the fifth, Papageorgiou pounded a solo home run to right. His 13th home run of the season put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 2-1.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Papageorgiou.
