Ogres Win with Late Heroics
The Olympia Ogres had to overcome a fine effort from Bethesda pitcher Will Bennett to win, 1-0, in 10 innings at The Ogre Den. Bennett went 7 innings and allowed no runs. The Atoms, now 43-58, have lost 4 straight.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 26-year old shortstop Jesse Harris had a chance to be the hero. Bethesda pitcher Ray Peck wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Harris hit a sacrifice fly. The Ogres had themselves a thrilling win.

Harris attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
