The timely hitting of Chris Ledesma helped the Niagara Falls Expos down the Mancelona Torch, 10-0. Ledesma went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Expos. Fjodor Ishemgujin got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 3. The setback makes Mancelona 12-16.

Niagara Falls got a big at-bat from Seattle, Washington native Sam Malmivaara, who in the top of the fourth hit a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Expos ahead, 8-0.
