The Marquette Miners had no problem beating the Crescent City Krewe, 12-1, at Marquette Stadium. Laakea Enuma, who is tied for 6th in the PAA with a .306 batting average, led the onslaught. He was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Marquette. Bryan Ogle collected save number 1. With this game in the books, Marquette is 62-40, Crescent City 55-47.

With Marquette leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Enuma hit a curveball from Bill Darcy for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Miners ahead, 4-1.
