Nelson scores 3 runs to Power Thunder Offense
St. Petersburg second baseman Willie Nelson contributed significantly to his team's 12-4 win over the Crescent City Krewe. Nelson, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA in runs scored with 59, went 2 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Thunder. The 8th-place Thunder have a record of 46-56.

Early in the game, center fielder Mario Ornelas had a 3-run home run for St. Petersburg. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Thunder on top, 3-0.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Crescent City manager Cleveland Kraut. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
