Screaming Eagles Drop Highlanders, 5-4

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles racked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, bumping off the Asheville Highlanders, 5-4. Sixto Espinosa, who started for Mercer Island, pitched effectively for his team. Espinosa picked up the win for Mercer Island, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Jorge Vásquez recorded the save for Mercer Island, his 10th of the season.
