Toronto played host to Hollywood at Thunder Field.

The Toronto Thunder topped the Hollywood Shredders by a score of 12-4. Leading the way was designated hitter Bob Davis. Davis was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Thunder. Picking up his 1st save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Gary Smith.

Jim McDavid had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Thunder. Coming up with the bases loaded and Toronto trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.

McDavid told a Toronto Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The win elevated the Thunder to 58-46.
