Chukars Rebuff Manatees, 4-2

The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Matlacha Manatees, 4-2, at Idaho Falls Park. Idaho Falls center fielder Carl Harmon had an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The 9th-place Chukars are now 14-17, the Manatees 16-15.
With Idaho Falls leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Harmon hit a 2-run home run off Matlacha hurler Andre Maccley. It was the 6th home run of the season for Harmon and put his team ahead, 4-1.
"We're producers not directors," said Harmon. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."
