Lontok Helps Bulls Beat Blue Dragons, 6-4
|
Thanks in large part to first baseman Dimacali Lontok, the Belleville Bulls beat the Levittown Blue Dragons, 6-4. Lontok went 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. With the win, the Bulls improved to 15-18.
Lontok had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 sinker from Juan Sánchez, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Bulls a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Lontok.
"It's fun when you can help the team win games," said Lontok.
