Expos Turn Back Generals, 4-2
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 22-year old shortstop Cy Curry, the Niagara Falls Expos defeated the Washington Generals, 4-2. Leland Wood earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 2nd of the year. Today's win puts Niagara Falls at 18-15, while Washington falls to 16-17.
In the first inning, Curry had a 3-run home run for Niagara Falls. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Expos on top, 4-0.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Curry.
