The Rocky Mountain Vibes topped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 6-4, in 11 innings at Idaho Falls Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Rocky Mountain pitcher George Louis. Manny Rodríguez came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Rocky Mountain currently is in 4th place in the Menard's A at 20-13.
Rocky Mountain used the timely hitting of AHei Mikilana to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Vibes on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
Mikilana told the Rocky Mountain Times: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."
