The Boston Patriots defeated the Long Island Lighthouse, 7-6. Shortstop Jing-quo Au-Yong deserved a large share of the credit. Au-Yong slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Patriots. Boston starter Sidney Petty was credited with the win after throwing 93 pitches over 6 innings.
