Hawkins Now 9-5 After Beating Cattlemen
|
Seattle turned a fine outing from starter Bruce Hawkins into a victory over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at The Cattle Pen. The final score was 6-0. With the victory, the Rocketeers upped their record to 60-44.
Hawkins, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 9-5. In 8 innings of work, Hawkins gave up no runs on 2 hits, while racking up 5 Ks. He kept the Cattlemen punchless, offensively.
