Lorenzo Silva was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Rocky Mountain and Yucca Valley. The Vibes right-hander helped his team beat the Yellows, 3-1. The Vibes improved to 22-14.
Rocky Mountain grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Carlos Torres delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Vibes.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Yucca Valley manager Francisco Pelaez. "Obviously."
