Aguilera Silences Laredo Bats
The Pontiac Godfathers welcomed the Laredo Hawks to an afternoon game at Pontiac Copperdome.

Raúl Aguilera, who is tied for 3rd in the 3A in wins with 4, pitched a gem in leading Pontiac to a 4-1 victory over the Laredo Hawks. Pontiac is now 24-15.

Aguilera was effective for Pontiac, seldom allowing the Hawks to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 96 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Laredo to just 1 run on 2 hits.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Aguilera said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
