Godfathers Lose to Bush Pilots in Walk-Off
A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Charlie Abbott, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2063 draft, led the Alaskan Bush Pilots to a win over the Pontiac Godfathers, 9-6. Alaskan raised its record to 22-18 with the win.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Alaskan trailing 6-5, Abbott jumped on a splitter from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Leo Doel and hit a grand slam home run to right-center. With one swing, the Bush Pilots had a walk-off win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Alaskan manager Arturo Montáñez.
