Washington Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Matlacha Manatees and Washington Generals.

Dave Eaton pitched well, but the Washington Generals still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Matlacha Manatees at Washington Park. Dallas Bullard picked up the save for Matlacha, his 4th of the year.

Matlacha used the bat of Zhang Huang to get the win. The second baseman spanked a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Manatees ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.

"Nice to get this one," said Huang. "Wins have been hard to come by."

The win puts Matlacha at 9-32.
