Reyes scores 3 runs in Bulls Win
|
The Belleville Bulls stymied the Washington Generals, 7-1, at Washington Park. Juan Reyes had a good day at the plate. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for Belleville. Scot Dixon nailed down the save. Belleville is now 18-26, while Washington is 15-29.
With Belleville leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Reyes hit a run-scoring single off Washington hurler Luis Salaza. It was the 37th hit of the season for Reyes and put his team ahead, 2-0.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Reyes told the Belleville Herald.
