Airmen Lose as Torch Stage Late Rally
The Mancelona Torch topped the Alameda Airmen, 5-3, in M3L Single A action at Alameda Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mancelona pitcher Tristan Liefting. The Torch saw their win-loss record go to 28-17. At the same time, the Airmen fell to 26-19.

Mancelona relied on the hitting of David Coleman to pick up the win. The center fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Torch on top, 4-1. For the game, Coleman had 1 triple and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Coleman told the Mancelona Herald. "But we take nothing for granted."
