In a low-scoring game between the Idaho Falls Chukars and the Levittown Blue Dragons, pitcher Ben Vincent was masterful on the mound. The Idaho Falls right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. Jalâl Suleymanoglu snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Getting the save was Mario Happ, his 6th.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, second baseman Joe Oliver had a key at-bat for the Chukars. With Idaho Falls trailing 1-0, he banged a solo home run.
"I'm happy we won," said Vincent. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
